Cancelled Services

Out of respect to the community regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the staff of Central Baptist Church of Eureka, MO along with the Steering Team has prayerfully decided to CANCEL ALL on campus events and activities effective immediately as of March 18th through April 11th. The staff and Steering Team will meet again April 6th to evaluate our options for Easter services and future activities.

This decision was not made out of fear, but with respect to what we feel is the proper decision with regard to community safety per the recommendations of the CDC and Government officials. God’s word in Romans 13:1 says, “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.”

We encourage you to worship with us online through our YouTube channel or Facebook. The link to the service will appear each week on our website, Facebook and future emails, or go to our channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnaoH41z4r-VKN4t8XBxA0g. Worship will start at 10:15 AM followed by an encouraging message. We encourage families to worship together and make this a special time with one another.

As an act of worship, we encourage you to give as you normally do even though we cannot meet together. You have five options forgiving to the church:

  1. Drop off your gift at the church office between 8 AM – 3 PM.

  2. Mail your gift to P.O Box 66, Eureka, MO 63025

  3. Setup online banking to submit your check by using the church name and address.

  4. Online giving at cbcserves.org/give

  5. Text message giving by sending a text message:

    1. Send message to 73256

    2. Text the keyword and dollar amount, for example: CBCGIVE $50

    3. Once the initial text is sent you will receive a reply with a link to finish the transaction. On the link you will enter your credit card or payment method information one time. Then each time you text 73256 with the keyword CBCGIVE and the amount you can contribute to our ministry.

During this time the church office will remain open during regular office hours and the staff is available to help as needed. Please call the church office at 636.938.5577.

As an extended ministry, CBC would like to help any of our needy or elderly members who are concerned about leaving their home. If you think you should avoid people and cannot run errands, please contact the church office. We hope to have some volunteers who are willing to pickup groceries or run light errands for you. Likewise, if you’d like to volunteer to be a delivery person, please call the office and let us know you are available.

Our staff and ministry leaders are praying for you and your family. We know this is a challenging time, but God is watching over us. Together we will weather this storm and our ministry will continue. Be strong in the Lord and be reminded of God’s words, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7.
